My career started at Art Center College of Design. It led to projects that span advertising photography to a documentary on John Lee Hooker.

I started Story Never Told because I realized how little I knew about my own parents. It seemed that we always talked about insignificant matters. I still have questions about events and relationships that may never be answered. It is commonplace for family members to harbor stories for whatever reason. We had a conversational dance that was safe and familiar. I find that it is not uncommon that boundaries are created within families, and with these boundaries there is a lack of knowledge.

Sometimes it's hard to express what we want to say to those closest to us. It can be easier talking to someone not involved; through an extended conversation, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your life. I will ask questions and guide the conversation as needed, to make sure your story gets told.

You would be surprised how introducing a new perspective to the conversation can open up a person. I bring that new perspective.

I conduct a 2 to 3 hour conversation that will be edited down to about 1 hour. The DVD will also incorporate still portraits that illustrate various dimensions of you or a loved one.

There needs to be a record of thoughts that can be passed down to the future. Just imagine if you could view a conversation with your great grandfather - or your father's sister who you never met.

You will find the process enjoyable and the results satisfying. I look forward to starting the conversation!
